Compassionate Care Hospice

Compassionate Care hospice is looking for people with special pets to share them with our senior hospice patients. Some of our patients respond to animals quicker than to people. Animals can reach places in the heart sometimes where others can't. We work with KPETS and IDT therapist to help work with your pet to go through the simple process of getting them certified. We work with most animals including dogs, cats and even rabbits.

Visits are usually about 15-30 minutes long and you can visit as little as 1-3 hours a month.

We provide background checks for volunteers and we require vet records for the pets.
