Special Olympics Florida - Miami-Dade County will host Camp Shriver at Moore Park during Spring Break from Monday, March 26th - Friday, March 30th.
This Spring Break Camp, sponsored in partnership with Special Olympics Florida, Boom Miami & Leadership Miami (a program of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce) will be offered for children ages 8-14 living in Liberty City with and without intellectual disabilities.
Volunteer Role: Volunteers are needed to support the Camp Staff. Campers will participate in sports activities such as Tennis, Soccer, Softball & Flag Football. They will also enjoy a field trip to the Miami Open, arts & crafts and more! Volunteers will work closely with campers to provide a fun and safe camp experience.
Volunteer Requirements: All volunteers must complete the following requirements.
- Complete a Class B Volunteer Form
- Commit to at least 1 full day of camp from 8am-4pm
- Any volunteers under the age of 15 need a parent/guardian to attend with them.
