This is such a fabulous volunteer opportunity!!
You spend one hour a week. It is very flexible, no set days. You go when it is convenient for you.
Let me share my last visit at the Kettering location. It was with a gentleman who truly wants a volunteer! He enjoys taking a walk, telling his stories, playing cards. He tells me he is lonely and just wants someone to visit with him. Could you be his next friend? He is also a Veteran
Isn't that a great way to volunteer, give back, make a friend?
We also have locations in Beavercreek, Oakwood and Fairborn if they are closer to your home.
Please consider Brookdale Hospice. We do require fingerprints and urine drug screen; but we pay for everything! It's really not a hard process.
