ORGANIZATION: DOGGIE PROTECTIVE SERVICES FOR HOMELESS TAILS

  • 54 people are interested

Who we are: We are doggie protective services! AKA DPS Rescue. We are based out of southern california but host adoption events every other weekend in Palo Alto. We are looking for volunteers age 14 and up who have a passion for dogs and people skills! Our volunteers are vital to our organization. As are our fosters! There will be a separate listing about our fosters on our page. Our volunteers spend the day promoting and playing with our pups. This means: talking to potential adopters, socializing our dogs and playing with them and cleaning up after their messes. There is some cleaning involve so if you don't like picking up poop perhaps this is not for you. (We provide supplies). Working for DPS is a great opportunity to grow your skills with dogs and people! We train you and if you don't have a lot of experience that is OK. We will give you the keys to success. We have dogs ranging from tiny 8 week old puppies to large german shepherds. Sound interesting? Great! Check out our website: dpsrescue.org and fill out a volunteer application and we will get back to you ASAP. You can also shoot us an email and we can help you with questions and next steps. Thank you for wanting to rescue! Aroo!
