New York African Chorus Ensemble seeks volunteers to learn and perform various songs from the continent of Africa. No experience is necessary.
New York African Chorus Ensemble is a nonprofit organization which contributes to the cultural vibrancy of New York City. Incorporated in 2004, the organization has been training singers from all ethnic backgrounds and different musical abilities to perform African songs at various concert and festival venues.
Additional male and female singers are needed to learn songs that will be performed at the NYC Multicultural festival of May 19th and at other upcoming events. No experience is necessary, we will train you. All you need is an open mind and a willingness to learn new things.
In the past we have performed for 34 Kings from Nigeria, at the Good Morning America Studio and other amazing places which has led singers to exclaim, "How did I get to perform here?" Even as the producer of the NYC Multicultural Festival, we pride ourselves in providing a conducive place where people of all cultures can learn and perform African songs.
