Mission Statement

To provide financial assistance to families in need who have a child facing a critical illness or injury; to hold the financial burdens of the parents so that they may be able to devote full time care to their child.

Description

HoldYou was founded to provide much needed support to families whose children are in treatment for a life-threatening medical crisis. HoldYou provides immediate assistance to families who are facing financial hardship as a result of their child's diagnosis. Far too many families experience financial loss due to work disruption and unpaid leaves that are necessary to care for their child. At the same time, families come up against increased expenses for travel, food, childcare and parking. HoldYou partners with Los Angeles hospitals to identify vulnerable families and provides support for their urgent basic needs, such as rent, utilities, food and transportation. HoldYou provides compassionate care so parents can be fully present to focus on what matters most--holding and healing their child.
