Cornerstone Assistance Network wants to place a Public Awareness Coordinator VISTA (Volunteer in Service to America) at Center for Transforming Lives.
Pay: $1,025 per month BEFORE taxes
In October 2015, the organization officially changed its name to Center for Transforming Lives to better reflect its local mission of breaking the cycle of poverty for women and their families. The VISTA will work to expand the knowledge of Center for Transforming Lives, our mission and our work. Through social media, e-newsletters and other modes of communication, the VISTA will bring in donors, funders, volunteers, employees, and the Community to provide enhanced services for more than 3,700 low-income and homeless women and children in Tarrant County annually, helping hundreds to break the cycle of poverty
Responsibilities:
- Research, develop, test and implement social media campaigns in conjunction with transitional media campaigns
- Collaborate with staff for standard updates to be used in e-newsletter, hard copy newsletters and other forms of message distribution for the agency and the issues it addresses
- Assist with the implementation of the campaigns through related tasks such as site visits in the field with direct service personnel and supporting public awareness efforts such as facilitating agency tours for potential partners
