Cornerstone Assistance Network wants to place a Resale Coordinator VISTA (Volunteer in Service to America) at Center for Transforming Lives.
Pay: $1,025 per month BEFORE taxes
Existing agency resources are used to generate revenue to support programs and to create opportunities for skills building of program participants. These small businesses include Historic 512, Triumph Catering, and The Resale Shop. The Resale Shop offers quality merchandise at affordable prices. Internships and community service volunteering provides opportunities to learn both soft skills and industry specific skills to prepare individuals for success in employment
Responsibilities:
- Focus on the inventory recruitment practices of the store, including advertising, social media presence, and corporate/civic group drives
- Implement a system to ensure that inventory processing is efficient and effective, while also enjoyable for the volunteers and employees
- Increase sales by soliciting inventory, promoting the store and its benefit for the community
- Work with corporate and civic groups, overseeing and supporting volunteers, building systems to process inventory in order to increase efficiency
