Dance-a-Lotl
Prototype 1 for Kids Quad Kit

Description

Active Streets Alliance (The Alliance) is a 501(c)3 focused on building community around and in our streets. The Alliance has been supporting an effort to increase K-12 entries in the annual Menagerie in Motion Kinetic Derby.

Research has led to an early stage four seat quadricycle concept. The initial product moving towards K-12 trials is currently in concept phase and moving in the product pipeline. We are seeking an eager Product Development Volunteer(s) who is interested in learning about and engaging in the R&D work of Kids Quad Kit design, development, and testing.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate(s) is self-driven and capable of performing in a fast-paced prototyping environment, excels at solving complex and open-ended problems through methodical application of engineering and/or design principles, and most importantly, demonstrates a keen interest in developing a Kids Quad Kit that is optimized for use in the K-12 environment as part of a STEAM education system. The kit will be designed for disassembly, storage, and reassembly for years of education.
