The mobile clinic is a low-cost veterinary clinic on a renovated RV. We visit a new neighborhood in Nashville each Saturday from 9am -1pm to provide low-cost vaccinations, microchips, flea/tick preventative, and more!
We are seeking mobile clinic volunteers that are interested in volunteering on a long-term basis (minimum 6 month commitment). Because the volunteer positions require training and delivering great customer service to our clients, regular volunteering is encouraged! We encourage you to try out volunteering at the mobile clinic as a Registration Line Manager or Beginner Registration Assistant to see if it is for you. If you love helping clients and pets as much as we do, we'd love for you to sign up as an Advanced Registration Assistant. See listing for each of these opportunities on our HON page.
Please keep in mind that the mobile clinic is outside; volunteers will also be outside during all seasons, so it is important to dress appropriately.
Advanced Registration Assistant
For previously trained Registration Assistants who have completed the training session and have worked at least two clinics. Advanced Registration Assistants are encouraged to volunteer for a minimum of two clinics a month
Registration Assistants are responsible for inputting client, pet and service information into our client database. This is a customer service role, so volunteers must be comfortable speaking and interacting with clients. Volunteers will also be responsible for taking and recording accurate payments. Computer and troubleshooting skills are a must.
Time commitment: Two Saturdays a month, 9am-1pm.

Mission Statement
Pet Community Center is dedicated to strengthening the human-animal bond through accessible veterinary care and support services.
Description
We want every pet to receive the high-quality veterinary care they deserve. Providing affordable and accessible veterinary care services is the key to our success.
Pet Community Center (PCC) operates a high-volume, low-cost spay/neuter and vaccine clinic in Nashville, TN run by highly skilled veterinarians, clinicians, and nonprofit professionals. As of the end of 2023, we have served over 125,000 animals.
Additionally, PCC is tackling barriers to veterinary care and provides outreach and support to pet owners who live in veterinary care deserts. The results of PCC’s work include lower pet homelessness rates, lower shelter euthanasia rates, and improved public health and quality of life in neighborhoods across Davidson County.
