Volunteering at Bryan is an opportunity for individuals to provide value-added service to our patients, families, visitors and staff, and to gain valuable insight into a healthcare setting.
ADULT & COLLEGE VOLUNTEERS Adults and college students are asked to make a minimum commitment of three consecutive months. Volunteers begin by serving 2-3 hours per week between 5 a.m. - 12 midnight one day a week, Sunday - Saturday.
YOUTH VOLUNTEERS Youth (ages 14 and older, in middle school and high school) are asked to make a minimum commitment of three consecutive months, volunteering from 3:45-5 p.m. one day per week, Monday-Friday.
SERVICE AREAS Volunteers serve in nearly 100 different service areas throughout Bryan Health. These areas include: - Clerical - Delivery - Family Support - Handcrafts - Information Services - Patient Support - Patient Transportation
HOW TO BEGIN Visit www.bryanhealth.org/volunteer to print off the forms, or call the Volunteers and Customer Care office at 402-481-3032 and ask for a packet to be sent. We are always happy to visit with anyone interested in volunteering at Bryan. Placement is not guaranteed and is based on a selection interview and background checks. Volunteers serve at our Bryan West Campus (2300 S. 16th Street) and Bryan East Campus (1600 S. 48th Street).
