Description General Description:
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Employees’ Charitable Campaign (COMECC) is a charitable giving program which enables employees of Commonwealth agencies to donate to charitable causes that benefit communities in Massachusetts. The Campaign uses a network of agency coordinators throughout the state to liaise with employees, organize events and collect donations.
COMECC is looking for a detail-oriented Research Intern to review current agency contact lists and ensure liaison information is correct. This project must be completed by August 31, 2018.

Duties/Responsibilities:
* Review COMECC’s current list of agency contacts, identify gaps and contact Commonwealth agencies to identify the appropriate individual in those agencies.
* Assist the Campaign Manager with other projects and tasks as required. Requirements Must have demonstrated proficiency and knowledge with spreadsheets and databases.
* Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Demonstrate professional phone etiquette and email correspondence with various stakeholders across the Commonwealth
* Ability to take initiative to conduct research independently, and communicate with people who may or may not be familiar with COMECC
* Proficiency using a switchboard when making phone calls
Schedule (including day and time if applicable):
Flexible schedule Monday - Friday between the hours of 9am-5pm
