ORGANIZATION: Friends of the Wells Branch Library

Help English language learners practice and develop their conversation skills, build cultural knowledge, and develop confidence in speaking a new language, by facilitating a twice-monthly English Conversation Group! This is an informal conversation practice group open to learners of all skill levels, with each meeting generally
having a selected theme to guide natural conversations among participants. Meetings are held on the 1 st & 3 rd Saturdays of each month from 10:30am-12:00pm. Experience working with English language learners preferred. Make new friends from all over the world while helping ESL learners with their English skills!

The mission of the Friends of the Wells Branch Community Library is to support the library by helping to fund services, equipment and provide volunteers.

Description

Friends of the Wells Branch Community Library (FOL) is a local organization that supports the community library by helping to fund special programs, provide equipment and provide volunteers for all areas of the library including children's programs, employment assistance, and computer services to the general public. The FOL secures volunteers to help move books and other materials into the hands of the patrons.
