The Art of Running is a fun run to support "connecting creativity across Placer County.
Descriptions:
- Packet Pick Up & Registration: Assist in distributing race packets and assist in registration. Saturday June 9 from 9:30 - 5:30 at Rocklin Endurance Sports (2217 Sunset Blvd, Ste 701, Rocklin, CA 95765, Phone: 916-259-2820) OR Sunday June 10 from 6:30 to 7:30am at Twin Oaks Park
- Course Marshals/Spirit Team: Direct runners, walkers, spectators, cars at intersections throughout the course. June 10 - Race Day from 7:30 an to approximately 10:30 am
- Finish Line Assistants: Greet finishers, distribute water, and hand out finisher ribbons and age/ place awards, Sunday June 10 from 7:30 to approximately 10:30am at Twin Oaks Park
- Art Show Assistance: Sunday, June 10, Vendor assistance - 6:30-8:30 am OR Clean Up - 10:30-12

The Arts Council of Placer County (PlacerArts), is a catalyst for the arts and humanities throughout Placer County. We aim to serve residents, visitors, artists, arts organizations, and partner agencies through our diverse program offerings, resources, and support. As a non-profit, public benefit agency, and a state-local partner of the California Arts Council, we promote public access to the arts, support professional development of local arts creators and presenters, celebrate the authentic culture and heritage of our county, and advocate for arts education in schools and communities.

WHO WE ARE
Catalyst for the Arts and Humanities
Since 1983, the Arts Council of Placer County has been building community throughout Placer County. We believe that art should be a part of everyday living and that, when it is, everyone in the community benefits from a higher quality of life.
The Arts Council of Placer County (formerly PlacerArts), serves the communities of Placer County by presenting quality visual arts exhibits, tours, and events. We promote and advocate for all arts across Placer County and nearby regions to enrich and help develop the artistic culture of this region of Northern California.
WHAT WE DOAs the designated State-Local partner of the California Arts Council, our programs and services encourage and support the public to "experience art in all degrees."
ACPC provides artists and art lovers with many different resources for staying connected. Through the Art Events Calendar, artists organizations, and businesses can post and share upcoming events. Our Pop Up Art Markets and Business Art Displays provide innovative and exciting opportunities for the Placer Artists League and Artists Members to exhibit, sell, and share their work with the public. We also have many fundraising events that provide another outlet for exhibiting local talent.
