Volunteers are engaged in helping families with running errands, sitting with a patient while the care giver takes a break, clerical and computer skills (making fliers, filing etc), helping with events at nursing homes and in the community. We love to have music therapy, pet therapy or art therapy. I want to start a veterans program so our vet patients will have someone to visit with! We also do patients and care givers hair cuts. I would love to have a couple of more hairdressers on our team! We do crafts at the nursing homes and parties for holidays as well. We make monthly phone calls but could use some volunteers to just call and visit with the families. There are many things you can do! We have quarterly ln Service with lunch and door prizes, appreciation dinners etc. Come join our team!
