The Childcare Volunteer plays a key role in the administration of the Family Enrichment Services Department’s Domestic Violence Support Group. CLUES Family Services Department offers support and guidance to survivors of domestic violence. While parents work with CLUES staff, the Childcare Volunteer provides enrichment activities for Spanish and English-speaking children, including games, literacy activities, art projects, and more.

We are seeking a Spanish-English Childcare Volunteer that is dedicated to the positive influence of children and their well-being. This volunteer’s main responsibilities are implementing learning activities for the children and providing a safe space.

Additional Responsibilities
-Assist in classroom supervision.
-Lead activities in reading, art, early math and science, as well as group games.
-Work cooperatively with children and families of diverse culture backgrounds.
-communicating with supervisor any issues or safety concerns.

CLUES is Minnesota’s largest Latino-led nonprofit organization, founded in 1981. Today it serves over 10,000 Latinos, immigrants, and neighborhood-based clients throughout the Twin Cities area. With offices in Minneapolis and Saint Paul, its current mission is to "Improve the quality of life of Latinos in Minnesota". CLUES’ family-centric model of delivery focuses on empowering clients to live healthy lives and become economically self-sufficient. We realize our mission by eliminating barriers and providing access to resources and opportunities for clients through education, skill-building, training, and delivering behavioral health programs that lead to self-sufficiency and prosperity.
