We're looking for students or graduates of business, economics, etc. to perform market research for the Southern Arizona Dream Center. As a nonprofit focused on stopping human trafficking, and providing long-term recovery for victims and addicts, we have to find ways to generate income to supplement donations, in order to cover monthly expenditures. We are looking for a candidate to perform market research in order to identify local business opportunities. Any opportunities should include a detailed market analysis, keeping in mind to both employ as many people as possible (workers will be recovery and rehabilitation patients), and be economically feasible in the selected areas (Sahuarita or Tucson, Arizona).

Responsibilities include:

• Strong self-starter
• Business background (College graduate, student, researcher, business owner, etc.)
• Ability to evaluate market for opportunities, and present information to board of directors
• Knowledge of SWOT analysis
• Ability to write a basic business plan / marketing plan
• Potentially creating a proof of concept or go-to-market strategy
• Ability to condense large amounts of information and convey it in a way that makes sense

This is an unpaid volunteer internship. Hours can be used as both volunteer work, and if you're a student, as class credit (pending prior approval). Student Intern/volunteer will receive a full write-up after internship period, including any other requirements as needed by your instructor or program.
