ORGANIZATION: The North American Rescue Collective

  • 12 people are interested

We have a need for multiple people to join our team as board members. We can adjust position requirements, expectations, and responsibilities to work for those who would like to join our team. NOARC is specifically seeking those with experience in legal consulting, grant writing, public relations, community development, and social media/website building. We are excited to add to the team!

We would like to add folks to the organization within the next 2-3 months, and need people ready to hit the ground running. Some points we'd like to emphasize:

-Commitment is necessary for anyone who would like to join the board. Follow-through on responsibilities, tasks, and projects is expected and we'd like a minimum one year commitment.

-A passion for canine welfare! Previous experience working with abused, neglected, or homeless dogs is ideal.

-Good interpersonal communication is a must. Responsiveness to messages from fellow board members and others will be important to success in any board position with NOARC.

About The North American Rescue Collective

Location:

Central Ohio, Columbus, OH 43212, US

Mission Statement

Through partnering with shelters in the Midwest region, we strive to aid in the implementation of sustainable programs that address the issues of canine overpopulation, abuse, and neglect. In addition, these programs should promote responsible pet parenthood and encourage community-wide solutions. Further, we help our shelter partners through pulling individual dogs and placing them in foster homes throughout Ohio before ensuring that they are adopted to great homes.

Description

Founded in autumn 2017, The North American Rescue Collective (NOARC) aims to help communities develop self-sustainable and supportive programs that protect canines and encourage responsible, positive pet parenthood.
