Doctors Without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières is looking for passionate volunteers to raise awareness about the refugee migrant crisis at our mobile trailer exhibit.

We will be at various locations in and around Austin from March 16 - March 23.

Friday 3/16 - 11 am to 5 pm
Austin Public Library - Terrazas Branch

Saturday 3/17 - 9 am to 1 pm
Texas Farmers’ Market at Lakeline

Sunday 3/18 - 12 pm to 5 pm
Georgetown Public Library

Monday 3/19 - 10 am to 3 pm
St. Edward’s University - Main Building

Tuesday 3/20 - 10 am to 3 pm
St. Edward’s University - Main Building

Friday 3/23 - 10 am to 4 pm
University of Texas at Austin - Gregory Gym Plaza

Doctors Without Borders presents a mobile version of Forced From Home, a unique interactive exhibition about the global refugee crisis. The exhibition exposes the challenges facing more than 65 million displaced people around the world today, connecting visitors with some of these individuals through virtual reality documentaries, photographs, and personal stories from MSF patients and staff

We are seeking enthusiastic, friendly, and reliable volunteers to help us staff the Forced From Home mobile exhibit.

Forced From Home Mobile volunteers will help with a variety of roles on-site at the trailer, including: virtual reality administration, crowd management, and logistics support.

All volunteers must be at least 18 years old on the day they volunteer for the exhibition. There is no upper age limit to participate, however volunteers should be comfortable being on their feet while on site.

Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) is a private, international association. The association is made up mainly of doctors and health sector workers and is also open to all other professions which might help in achieving its aims. All of its members agree to honor the following principles:

MSF provides assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural or man-made disasters, and to victims of armed conflict. They do so irrespective of race, religion, creed, or political convictions.

MSF observes neutrality and impartiality in the name of universal medical ethics and the right to humanitarian assistance and claims full and unhindered freedom in the exercise of its functions.
