Info Session- CASA of Monterey County

Cause Areas

Fri Mar 23, 2018, 04:30 AM - 05:30 PM

945 South Main StreetSuite 107Salinas, CA 93901

With the support of a CASA volunteer, a Monterey County foster child is more likely to succeed, receive vital services, and find a safe, permanent home. CASA volunteers work one-on-one with a child or group of siblings. They get to know the children, gather important information from reports and professionals, and advocate for the children’s best interests related to their education, health, living arrangements, and general well-being. No experience is necessary. We provide all the training you’ll need, plus a dedicated staff supervisor to provide resources and support.

As of February, 2018, Monterey County has over 100 children waiting to be assigned a CASA. We need your help! Please join us for our next information session which will be held Friday, March 23 at 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
