Family Promise of Greater Denver (familypromiseofgreaterdenver.org) is in need of child care volunteers on Sunday March 25 from 9:30 am until 5 pm. Some wonderful volunteer dentists from Dental at Your Door are coming to do free dental work for our families, and we’ll need childcare for the kids while their parents are getting work done. We have 6 slots that people can sign up for: 9:30 am - 10:30 am, 10:30 am - 11:30 am, 11:30 am - 1 pm, 2 pm - 3 pm, 3 pm - 4 pm, and 4 pm - 5 pm. We especially need volunteers in the morning! You can sign up for multiple slots if you'd like. Teens are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

Description
Family Promise of Greater Denver provides shelter, meals, rental assistance, and supportive services to families experiencing homelessness in the Denver area. We also work with families on employment, long-term housing solutions and other goals to ensure self-sufficiency and a brighter future.
Family Promise of Greater Denver began serving homeless families in 1997 and is part of a national network of 180+ affiliates. Since our founding, we’ve helped more than 1,000 families, including 1,900 children. Today, an average of 70% of families leave with housing and 85% of adults secure employment while they’re in the program!
