Living Green Community Garden Project

We're looking for volunteers who love giving back to the community, enjoy being outside and digging in the dirt, watching things grow or helping out behind the scenes with administrative or creative tasks.

We need help in May building and filling new beds and laying down woodchip paths. In October, we'll need a group to close out the garden by cleaning up debris and covering the beds with leaves and storing materials. Throughout the season, we'll need volunteers to work with us to weed, water and monitor the health of our plants, using organic methods to maintain the garden. We're also looking for help with weighing and delivering produce to the local food pantries. If you have talent in writing or marketing, we'd love to spread the word about our project via social media and press releases.

If you think this sounds like something you'd enjoy, please contact us!
