Join Save the Sound for a coastal cleanup at Long Wharf in New Haven! Saturday, August 12, 10am-12pm. Save the Sound will provide gloves (adult sizes only), trash bags, and garbage grabbers. We will have water and snacks for volunteers - please bring your own refillable water bottle. Wear clothing and shoes you don't mind getting dirty.
All ages are welcome, but we do ask that children attend with a guardian who will supervise them during the cleanup.
Meet by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on Long Wharf Drive by the intersection with Sargent Drive. There is a small parking lot on Long Wharf, as well as street parking along Long Wharf. Overflow parking is at Jordan's Furniture, a short walk from the cleanup site.
