Details WALKERS: Divide into several groups at registration and walk about 5 min. to the Boat Ferry location (see PARKING INSTRUCTIONS)
BOATERS: Boaters will assist in ferrying volunteers to the cleanup site and in hauling trash back to the dumpster at the Corps Bulkhead. Boaters only wishing to ferry volunteers are welcome to help.
We're loaning 2-way radios to boaters for communication.

KAYAKERS: Come to Registration Table at 8:45am to receive assignments from CJL leaders. Liability Waiver Forms

Participation by minors requires signature of guardian or parent and minors under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult.

We Provide

* Shoreline Track Captains to lead volunteers

* Bags, gloves, trash grabbers, first-aid kits, large on-site water containers * Pontoon boat and operator courtesy of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

* Post-event light lunch starting at 12:15 pm

We continue our tradition of offering a Trash Treasure Hunt. Items marked by "CJL TTH" are shown to track captain who will issue a CJL business card redeemable for merchandise prize at registration table.

Instagram Prize-Photos taken by volunteers posted with hash tag #cleanjordanlake will be entered into random draw for merchandise prize. The Center is at the end of Jordan Dam Rd.

Boaters and kayakers can launch at the Poes Ridge Boat Ramps of the Corps of Engineers as shown on the map link. The distance from the launch site to the cleanup areas is about 2 miles. We loan tarps for boats hauling trash.

The Barak Source For Learning is a not for-profit organization providing resources via on-site training and implementation of alternative education and leadership programs for schools, neighborhoods and community groups. Our programs include conflict resolution, diversity awareness and positive communication skill building among others, and all are designed using the arts and activities which build cultural awareness; whether they are day-long, intensives or full month-long camps, each program is tailored to the specific community being served.
