Join West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation staff in hosting our VERY POPULAR Spring Fling Egg Hunts. Assistance is needed with prepping goodie bags prior to the event. During the event, volunteers are needed to work various stations.
Stations include and will be assigned at the event:
- Monitor Break/Dinner area for volunteers and staff
- Monitor petting farm
- Costume Character Mr. & Mrs. Bunny
- Costume Assistant (help those in a costume get around)
- Bunny picture line
- Goodie bag line
- Egg hunt field guards
- Assist with the trackless train line
Dress code is outdoor wear for Spring temperatures (recommended winter wear as Spring evenings are cool). Volunteers should arrive on-site no later than 3:00pm as an ALL VOLUNTEER MEETING will be held at 3:15pm with event specific directions. Volunteer dinner will be available between 3:15-8:30pm.
Confirmation Letter: We will send out a confirmation email at the beginning of the event week. If you do not receive a confirmation email then please call 248-451-1929.
Bad Weather : If there is bad weather and we have to cancel the event we will notify you by text, phone call, or email so be ready to check all of these. For this reason we recommend that you share your cell phone number with us.(Only the volunteer coordinator will have access to it and it is not shared with the public).
