Calling all individuals, businesses, churches, civic groups, schools, clubs, and families!!!
Now is your chance to Sponsor a Stud and help beat the affordable housing crisis in San Antonio. Here is how it works:
Visit our Administrative office, 311 Probandt, and tell the receptionist that you want to Sponsor a Stud.
Make a tax deductable donation of $100 by check, cash (bills only - we cannot accept coins) or money
order for every stud you wish to sponsor.
Pick up your stud right then and there - the stud is a 2 x 4 single piece of lumber about 7 ½ feet long
Decorate your stud: paint it, color it, write song lyrics, bible verses, encouraging messages, add your group’s logo, signatures, stickers, kids hand prints, rally cries of your favorite team...
Return it back to our administrative office (regular business hours are M-F 8:30 am - 4:30 pm)
We take it from there! We will use that stud in one of our Habitat homes in the near future.
Know that the $100 donation and that stud will serve to build up not only a home, but a hardworking family in your own community!

Description
Founded in 1976, Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio was the first U.S. partner affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. We are proud to say we built the first Habitat home in the United States have continued to build over the past 42 years for a total of 1,063 homes built in Bexar County!
Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio works with low-income families who would not otherwise be able to afford a house. We partner with families in need and help them build affordable houses for themselves at no interest and no profit. We are not a charity or a "hand out" program, but rather we help families help themselves.
in 2018, we plan to build 50 houses for San Antonio families in need. We can't do this alone- over 13,500+ volunteers will partner in construction with us this year to showcase the true meaning of community and compassion.
Habitat builds more than homes, we build stronger, safer, healthier communities right here in San Antonio!
