ORGANIZATION: Catholic Charities, Diocese of Arlington Newcomer Services

Evening Customer Service Instructors: Help your immigrant and refugee neighbors improve their English and soft skills in customer service! Classes will be held on Wednesdays from 6:30-9:30PM. intensive class will begin on Wednesday, March 28 thand end on Wednesday, June 13 th. The ideal candidate will have customer service experience and some background in teaching (volunteer or paid). The candidate must be able to commit for the entire semester. You will receive ample curriculum and resources, training, professional development, and additional support from Hogar staff throughout the semester. Do you know someone who would want to teach, too? Description

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Arlington's Newcomer Services is made up of two departments - Hogar Immigrant Services and Migration and Refugee Services.
Hogar Immigrant Services responds to the Church’s call for social justice by welcoming the stranger to this country, regardless of ethnicity, religion, nationality, or ability to pay.
Migration and Refugee Services is one of 104 national affiliates of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Since its founding in 1975, the office has resettled and assisted over 30,000 refugees and asylees in the Northern Virginia community.
