We need your help! We are an up and coming not-for-profit dedicated to helping underserved kids find goodness and hope through arts programming. We have an immediate need for a governing board member who can make a significant impact in the growth of our organization. We are looking for the following skill sets:

Passion

We are looking to someone who is passionate about our mission. We look for those that have either worked for a similar cause in the past or that genuinely seem emotionally engaged with our mission.

Experience

Experience as a leader is critical since you will be responsible for governing our entire organization, along with experience to make wise choices.

Time

A governing board member attends monthly meetings, is in charge of at least one committee or project, and attends student showcases. We require each board member to make a serious commitment to participate actively in the work of their committee. Due to COVID-19, all our meetings are virtual.

Professional skills

We have a need for our governing board members to understand sophisticated legal, financial, or business issues.

Toughness & Collegiality

Our board members have to be ready to take on tough issues and work through conflicts, but they also need to be respectful and inspire collaboration.

Give Get

We require that our governing board member has an annual give/get of $2,000.
