Community Threads is a non-profit resale store that uses volunteer labor and donated items to generate funding for homeless women and children. We accept those looking to complete hours mandated by the courts, police departments, and schools.
Those completing hours for court or police departments are able to serve anytime the store is open (M-F 10am-9pm, Saturdays 10am-7pm). Community Threads also provides the worker with a letter verifying the hours served. Please contact us at cthreadsvolunteers@gmail.com to get started!
Those completing hours for school credit such as National Honor Society, Life hour programs, or Harper Promise can serve during store hours with a pre-sign up available when you contact cthreadsvolunteers@gmail.com.
