Great opportunity for a small group! Do you know where litter goes? Litter in streets and parking lots flow into storm drains, which then empty into local creeks and rivers. In other words, if it’s on the ground, it’s in our water!
Help us clean up litter near Indian Creek in Olathe, Kansas. We’ll remove litter near the paved trail, forest, and field areas. Volunteers who wear water-proof boots will have opportunities to remove litter from shallow water in the creek bed. We will provide all supplies.
Min age: 11, with parent. 16 and older may volunteer alone.
All volunteers must register in advance by completing online registration. Click here https://www.tfaforms.com/4662544 for more details and to register. Immediately after registering, each individual will receive an auto-email confirmation with more details.
Do you have a group or questions? Contact John, Litter and Green Events Program Associate, at john.fish@bridgingthegap.org or 816-944-2383.
We apologize that we are not able to offer or sign off on court-mandated community service or disciplinary service.
