Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: City of Eugene Parks and Open Space

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

How can you help clean air, conserve energy, save water and combat climate change? Steward a tree! This Arbor Day, learn about all about trees while we mulch and plant new ones.

Mayor Lucy Vinis will kick-off the celebration by accepting the 2018 Tree City USA Award from the Arbor Foundation. The City of Eugene has earned Tree City USA status for 39 consecutive years for its commitment to its urban forest.

This is a family-friendly event - no experience necessary. Come dressed for the weather with sturdy shoes, ready to get dirty. Please RSVP so we can be sure to have plenty of tools, gloves and refreshments.

For more information or to RSVP, contact Natural Area Volunteer Coordinator Carrie Karl at carrie.l.karl@ci.eugene.or.us or 541-682-4850.
