Health Imperative’s T.E.A.M. Work Program (Together Empowerment and Mentoring Work) will pair adult survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault with peer mentors from the community who can provide them with support and connect them to the resources and tools they need to live their best lives. Mentors, who are volunteers willing to meet at least twice/month with their mentee, will offer support, encouragement, and assistance to survivors, allowing them to more effectively transition out of their crises and into sustainable, violence-free lives.

The T.E.A.M. Work Vision

T.E.A.M Work will provide trauma-informed and survivor-centered support to individuals healing from violence to support them in achieving self-sufficiency and independence. Mentors will provide survivors with additional support to aid them in achieving their goals around housing, education, employment, financial stability, health and wellness.
