Prohealth Hospice is seeking Respite Care and Friendly Visitor Volunteer(s) for our client in Dublin, CA. (as needed)
About this opportunity
Volunteers provide much needed relief for caregivers as needed (and pre-scheduled) to allow time for self, personal appointments and or a much needed break from care giving requirements. Volunteers offer support to our clients by providing the gift of time and their presence, companionship and support to those who care for them on a daily basis.
Volunteer requirements
- Minimum age 21
- Must submit a background check (paid for ProHealth)
- Must receive a TB test/Chest X-Ray (paid for by ProHealth)
- Submit a drug screen (paid for by ProHealth)
- Completion of our volunteer orientation
