"Volunteering with hospice is one of the best things I've ever done." - EvergreenHealth Hospice Volunteer
EvergreenHealth Hospice is seeking kind and caring individuals to make phone calls to the bereaved to offer a listening ear.
Our bereavement phone volunteers complete hospice core training and specialized bereavement training to prepare them for the weekly two-hour volunteer shift at the hospice center in Kirkland.
Bereavement phone volunteers work closely with the hospice bereavement coordinators and are supported by the hospice volunteer program. Ongoing hospice education and friendly volunteer gatherings are offered throughout the year.
