Join the heart of JMM Dance Co.’s mission by becoming a Community Outreach & Engagement Volunteer! You’ll be on the frontlines representing our joyful, movement-based programs that help kids grow in confidence, creativity, and emotional wellness through dance. Perfect for outgoing individuals who love engaging with people and making a positive community impact.

Key Duties:
  • Attend local family events, resource fairs, and school/community gatherings to represent JMM Dance Co.

  • Distribute flyers and talk to families, educators, and potential partners about our dance and SEL programs

  • Build connections with churches, community centers, libraries, and schools

  • Help us identify local outreach opportunities and support tabling/logistics

  • Share program details, gather contact info, and collect feedback from community members

Our mission is to partner with organizations, agencies, and businesses to create safe, inclusive spaces where students, educators, and teams can strengthen resilience, build empathy, and develop emotional intelligence through movement--fostering mental health awareness and empowering communities to thrive.

Description

Our goal is to make an impact on the lives of those with limited resources and/ or a disability who are interested in the arts. We wish to increase there self-esteem, social emotional skills and leadership qualities through our dance and arts programs and events.
