ORGANIZATION: ASU Concho Valley VISTA Placement Project

The Rural Healthcare Community Relations (RHCR) VISTA will ensure access to available health and mental health services provided by Frontera Healthcare Network (FHN). The RHCR member will develop coalitions with community-based organizations across Concho, Menard, Mason, Kimble & McCulloch counties in West Texas. The VISTA will organize and coordinate coalitions to close awareness and information gaps and other barriers between residents in poverty and access to FHN clinical services in these rural communities.

Eden is a community of approximately 3,000 individuals and is located about 45 miles Southeast of San Angelo, Tx. A personal vehicle is highly recommended and service related travel to clinics and surrounding communities will be reimbursed.
