Volunteer station reps attend events with our Soundbite Truck to promote KJZZ 91.5 FM / K-BACH 89.5 FM.

Soundbite is a highly specialized vehicle-combining the power of Public Radio with gourmet vending. Soundbite provides a unique blend of opportunities; from recording stories, to hosting civil public and corporate discussions in a non-traditional setting. Soundbite comes equipped with a fully functioning stage that can be used to celebrate the local music scene by allowing solo artists, duos and trios to perform...all while being able to enjoy your favorite Short Leash delicacies at various events around the valley.

Mission Statement

Sun Sounds of Arizona provides audio access to current information to people who cannot read print because they have a disability.

Description

Sun Sounds of Arizona, is a radio reading and information service that provides access to printed material to people who cannot read or hold print material due to a disability. Daily local and national newspapers, books and more than 200 current publications are broadcast 24/7/365 via specially tuned radios, streaming at Sunsounds.org, a special telephone programming system, podcasts and an iblink application. Hundreds of volunteers devote their time to read the materials at four affiliates throughout Arizona. We provide access and radios at no charge to eligible listeners.
