Have you had a positive experience in our Family Birth Center? Would you like to be a friendly face that welcomes expectant mothers and families to our hospital? Do you enjoy providing engaging presentations and sharing your knowledge with others? The Family Birth Center Tour Guide is a wonderful opportunity if you answered yes to any of those questions!
Tour Guides are needed every other Thursday evening and every other Saturday morning to lead two 30 minutes tours (per shift) of the FBC. A script is provided and all participant questions can be directed to nursing or other hospital staff at the end of the tour. Your friendly and warm presence is needed to escort tour participants around the FBC so they can get a feel for the environment before deciding if they want to deliver at Maple Grove Hospital.
This volunteer role is a unique way to make an impact on a vast number of people, at the hospital that delivers the second most babies in the state of Minnesota!
