2018 Health Hustle 5K Volunteers Needed!

Places for People will be hosting our 3rd Annual Health Hustle 5k Run/Walk event on Saturday May 12th at Tower Grove Park to promote health and wellness among our workforce. As helpers, we often do not take enough time to care for our own recovery and well-being; our focus is on those we serve, often leaving us with little energy to manage a healthy lifestyle for ourselves.

With this fun event, we want to encourage our staff to come out and get moving. As professionals at a health care organization, it is important that we lead by example and take some steps to improve our own wellness. Race fees and sponsorships will first pay for the cost of this fantastic event; any additional proceeds will be donated to Places for People, for the benefit of those we serve.

In order to provide the best event possible, we need 5 volunteers! Volunteers are needed to

• Help along the race course
• Cover water stations and snack stations
• Help register new runners
• Help with set-up and clean-up of event
