Help our home bound patients and their caregivers by touching base with them weekly. Calls entail asking if there are any issues that need to be relayed to the hospice nurse and what their needs may be for the weekend. Is the patient comfortable and do they need any supplies? These calls will help our home patients and their caregivers feel confident going in the weekend.
This is a great opportunity for volunteers who wish to help hospice patients but may not be ready or able to make patient visits. These calls need to be made in our Ft. Washington office on a Thursday or Friday.
