The 2018 Big Climb Philly Kick-Off is a prelude to 2018 Big Climb Philly, which will take place in May. At the kickoff, participants who have registered for Big Climb Philly are able to "warm up" as they climb the stairs of Lincoln Financial Field’s stands and get motivated to conquer their fundraising goals! For this event, we are looking for volunteers for the following positions:
Waiver Table: Assist participants in completing necessary event waivers Bag Check: Supervise participant belongings left at the bag drop during the event
Raffle Table: Distribute general raffle tickets to all participants and ensure they are filled out completely; distribute grand prize raffle tickets to participants who have visited both the "Cure" and "Conquer Tables"
Cure Table: Engage with participants about LLS’ mission and work
Conquer Table: Engage with participants about fundraising for Big Climb Philly
Stadium Monitors: Guide, motivate, and supervise participants as they climb the stairs of Lincoln Financial Field.
Please note that volunteers under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
We work tirelessly to find cures and ensure patients can access the lifesaving treatments they need. When someone experiences the fear and uncertainty of a blood cancer diagnosis, we provide hope, compassion, education and support. Our impact is felt beyond blood cancer. The breakthrough treatments we helped advance for blood cancers are now improving the lives of people affected by many types of cancer.

In 2017, LLS volunteers made a significant impact while selflessly dedicating their time and talent to achieve our mission. With countless ways to engage, from fundraising to providing patient support, our volunteers are changing the landscape of cancer.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter serves residents who have been touched by one of the blood cancers: leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. The chapter serves the Lehigh Valley Region.
