ORGANIZATION: Special Olympics North Carolina

Nearly 300 children and adults with intellectual disabilities will compete in the Far West Spring Games.Volunteers make Special Olympics possible!

General volunteers for the Special Olympics Murphy NC Spring Games on May 4 will serve as event personnel or for special assignments and activities such as

  • runners, scorekeepers, awards, escort and competition assistants
  • setup or cleanup assistants for athletic equipment, tables, chairs and signage

Volunteer student group leaders need to contact Murphy@sonc.net to identify event and roles appropriate for your group. Youth volunteers (ages 14 years old and up) are supported by the Games Management Team at all events.
