Do you want to work with the most vulnerable families/OVC households in Uganda?
Our OVC care & community linkage programme is looking for Community OVC and Linkage Volunteers
TASKS:
* Conduct community awareness on identification of vulnerable children and the process of registration of OVC
* Refer cases with specific needs to the competent service providers, follow up and document referred cases using the available referral tools
* Raise community awareness on Gender equality, Gender Based Violence and HIV/AIDS
* Network and collaborate with other implementing partners
* Provide regular visits to all implementing sites to provide technical support to the targeted community
* Compile and submit monthly, quarterly and annual work plans, budgets and reports to the Program Manager
* Prepare training needs especially on issues related on HIV/AIDS prevention, care &treatment; sexual orientation and human rights
* Link the community to partner health centers to access counseling, care and treatment services
* Help the targeted community to overcome difficulties,cope with many aspects of everyday living
* Provide individual support and counseling, developing everyday skills and meeting with the targeted group in their home environment
