Do you have experience in planning, coordinating, and training others? YAMM is seeking a remote volunteer Training & Development Manager to plan and coordinate our volunteer training programs.

The Remote Volunteer Training & Development Manager will:

Overview: Design, plan, direct and coordinate the training and development activities and staff of an organization.

Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities

The following is a summary of the essential functions of this job type. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned above. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs
  • Evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Plan, develop, and provide training and staff and volunteer programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as online classroom training, demonstrations, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
  • Prepare training budge for department or organization
  • Confer with management and conduct surveys to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and other factors
  • Identify educational needs
  • Coordinate and develop training materials and activities
  • Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system, or direct others in coding descriptions.
  • Maintain positive relationships with users.

  • The ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
  • The ability to be aware of others’ reactions and understandings why they react as they do
  • The ability to adjust actions in relation to others’ actions
  • The ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents
  • Knowledge of principles and methods of curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, leadership technique and coordination of people and resources
  • Knowledge of principles and procedures of personnel recruitment, selection, training, and personnel information systems

  • Asana - 1 Year experience
