Each year, the Mill Park Neighborhood Association holds a spring cleanup at Floyd Light Middle School. A SOLVE cleanup is hosted to clean up litter on the Floyd Light Middle School campus, Floyd Light Park, East Portland Community Center campus, and neighboring streets. We meet at the Floyd Light Middle School parking lot and volunteers walk through the school campus and through the park. Parking is located at the East Portland Community Center located directly next door. This year we are expanding the cleanup to cover Stark Street from SE 108th to Ventura Park, located at the corner of SE 113th and Stark. Hope to see many volunteers this year!

At SOLVE our mission is simple: Bring Oregonians together to improve our environment and build a legacy of stewadship. We do that through facilitating hands-on volunteer opportunities across the state that help to remove litter and restore native habitat through out our natural areas and neighborhoods. The majority SOLVE events are created and led by local volunteer leaders with a stake in the health and strength of the local community. We also offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities from one time participation at a local event, to leadership roles on a local of regional level. We look forward to connecitng with you soon to help care for an outdoor area you love in Oregon!
