College Potatoes, a respected public technology charity service provides compassionate assistance to those living in poverty, facing financial crisis, or living with disabilities is seeking an experienced fundraising professional to create and establish fundraising efforts for a successful fundraising program in our Boston Massachusetts service areas.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage regional portfolio of donors and prospects to include individuals, businesses, churches, civic groups, and municipalities, with a major emphasis on individual donors.
- Coordinate and facilitate activity that will directly result in donor prospect identification, engagement and successful solicitations.
- Plan, manage, and execute meetings and events that advance donor involvement, cultivation, and stewardship for major and planned giving opportunities.
College Potatoes is looking for a motivated volunteer with or working on a college degree, a minimum of three years of professional fundraising experience, and a CFRE credential or equivalent. The ideal candidate needs previous fundraising experience in our funding area or online, a commitment to the mission of the organization, a heart for working with donors, and proven success in the fundraising field.
