The Bigs with Badges program is built on the belief that trust and understanding in a community are developed one relationship at a time. A badged professional who volunteers to be part of Bigs with badges will be matched a child facing adversity in their community. Bigs with Badges will not only enable youth to bond with caring, supportive professionals, but will also enable professionals to get to know the community they serve.

All professionals in sheriff’s offices, fire departments, emergency response agencies, police departments, and more in Central Indiana are invited to a make a difference in child’s life by signing up to become a Big.

For a few hours, a couple times a month, you can give a Little the invaluable gift of your friendship. By simply changing their perspective of what the world can offer, you can literally start changing their lives. And sometimes it’s as simple as playing video games, going to a museum, or just hanging out together.
