A 73 year old man living with ALS and his wife are looking for help cleaning their house. The gentleman is no longer able to physically help because of his ALS and his wife has back problems and arthritis. If someone was able to help with straightening and dusting every week for two hours, it would make a huge difference for this couple.

What is ALS?
ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system. ALS results in the progressive weakness of voluntary muscles which often leads to total paralysis. There is no known cause or cure for ALS. People with ALS typically live between two and five years after being diagnosed.
How does The ALS Association help?
We fulfill our mission by offering programs, services, and equipment free of charge to anyone affected by ALS residing in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
