ORGANIZATION: Fandom Forward

We're searching for a someone with top notch professional skills and the drive to help us launch a brand new phase of HPA programs. As the Speaker Coordinator, you'll search for opportunities for HPA staff to bring workshops to organizations around the United States. You'll also serve as the point person for Granger Leadership Academy presenters, from seeking out the most awesome folks to communicating with selected presenters throughout the conference process. This role also serves as the Team Leader of an exciting new team dedicated to HPA's live training experiences. This is a 7.5 hour a week commitment.

Responsibilities

  • Reports to the Director of Leadership and Education
  • Researches opportunities for HPA staff to appear as speakers/panelists/presenters
  • Researches opportunities for HPA to facilitate in-person trainings
  • Handles initial outreach to those opportunities
  • Assists Senior Staff with logistics of speaking and training appearances
  • Maintains database of guest presenters from Granger Leadership Academy
  • Coordinates Granger Leadership Academy Call for Proposals, including application timeline, proposal review, and acceptance status notifications
  • Coordinates Granger Leadership Academy presenter services, including communication before and after the event
  • Assists with other department projects as needed
