The Mayor’s Immigrant Affairs Volunteer Corps was created to empower Angelenos to support the programs and initiatives of our direct service community partners. Volunteers assist our partner organizations during events that help educate Los Angeles’s immigrant community on various programs, especially those related to citizenship. Opportunities and events include citizenship application assistance workshops, educational forums, and Know Your Rights workshops throughout the city.
Interested parties should complete the volunteer application at http://bit.ly/miavc to be placed on a volunteer list. Please direct any questions or comments to mayor.immigrantaffairs@lacity.org .
